I did not know this until now.
This is most interesting.....and touching.
Never heard of this before.
I humbly share it with you.
IN GOD WE TRUST

While "Cleaning of the Stones" at the National Cemetery in Holly, I noticed a quarter placed on one of the stones.
Later, I also noticed a nickel placed on another stone, I was so touched with this that I took pictures. (sorry the nickel did not turn out). I Googled about the coins and found this out. I am very proud to share this. A coin left on a headstone lets the deceased soldier's family
know that somebody stopped by to pay their respect.
Leaving a penny means you visited.

A nickel means that you and the deceased soldier trained at boot camp together.
If you served with the soldier, you leave a dime.
A quarter is very significant because it means that you were there when that soldier died.
I AM VERY PROUD TO SHARE THIS.

There are 65 World War II veterans who are members of American Legion Post 31, Mendenhall added. "Men and women who fought in World War II are known as the greatest generation," Nagy said. This is Israel's memorial to 9/11.

It is called the 9/11 Living Memorial Plaza.

Completed in 2009 for $2 million, it sits on 5 acres of hillside, 20 miles from the center of Jerusalem.

"This metal remnant was taken from the remains of the Twin Towers, that imploded on September 11th disaster. It was sent over to Israel by the City of New York to be incorperated in this memorial. This metal piece, like the entire monument, is a manifestation of the special relationship between New York and Jerusalem."

It is the only memorial outside the U.S. that includes the names of all who perished in the terrorist attacks.
