image

Mrs. Patricia Ann (Ruffing) Moyer, born on July 13, 1947, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, to the late Garnet Ruffing and the late Albert Ruffing, Sr., passed away at age 70 on Sunday, March 18, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Patti attended Reynolds High School, class of 1965. She attended and graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in New Castle, PA in 1967. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Greenville Hospital until retiring in 1997. In 1980, she and Richard Moyer were on a committee to plan their high school class reunion. They began dating and then were married on April 28, 1984. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tom Kerr, and her brother, Daniel Ruffing. Patti is survived by her sons, Corey Kerr and A.J. Moyer; daughter, Kristin Kerr; her granddaughters, Jamie Moody and Kaitlyn Kerr, Abigail Kerr, and Addison Kerr; sisters, Shirley Smith and Barbara Stevens; and her brother, Albert Ruffing, Jr. She also leaves behind her adored dog, Gizmo.

Patricia loved God, her family, and reading. She loved spending time with her family in Kennerdell by the Allegheny River. She was a choir member and avid volunteer at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church and a devout member of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity. The family invites donations in Patricia's name to Animal Network of Las Vegas or a local charity of your choice. Patti was a generous and loving person. We are going to miss her dearly and are grateful for the time we had with her.
